Duplicate content is not King!!
What is the purpose of a website if all it does is re-publish content from another website? Just another backlink for the original source.
At least that the way search engines look at it. Search engines have become user friendly and seek to remove non-relevant results from search results. Search engines use a filter that removes the duplicate content pages from the search results. See a search engine robot crawls a website, it reads the pages, and stores the information. Then, it compares its findings to other information it has collected. Depending upon a few factors, such as the overall relevancy score of a website, it then determines which are duplicate content, and then filters out the pages or the websites.
You see duplicate content is not a good thing. It will not help your website seo ranking at all, only the site with the original content and typically most people would rather link to the orginal content also leaving you with no backlinks for you duplicate content.
You clearly need original content to score high with search engines and to get those all important backlinks. Adding unique and orginal content is not as hard as you might think. You can add your own twist to reviews ,write original descriptions for your products or even pay someone to write original content for your site. This might seems hard at first but it will surly help in the long run.
You see it is easy to copy and paste yourself to a website, but a website is on only another website unless it is King and the King is never a Duplicate it is an Original.
