Keyword Density

Keyword density is an indicator of the number of times the selected keyword appears in the web page. But mind you, keywords shouldn’t be over used, but should be just sufficient enough to appear at important places.

If you repeat your keywords with every other word on every line, then your site will probably be rejected as an artificial site or spam site.

Keyword density is always expressed as a percentage of the total word content on a given web page.

A Link Building Reminder

Here are some basic common tips to server as a reminder when building links for beginners.

Submit to Web Directories: This is a must. This is one of the best ways to get links for any site. A good ideal is to start submitting as soon as your site is up and running. Here is a good list of 500 directories that I use: http://broespeed1.googlepages.com/home .

Article Submission: Write articles of useful information about your new site and submit them to article directories. You need to put links back to your site, this serves as backlinks and traffic for your site.
